Excellent service and great breakfast
Sorell Hotel Rütli, located on the edge of the Old Town in Zurich, is a five minute walk from the train station. A block from the hotel is a pedestrian shopping/restaurant area and a short walk away is the Bahnhofstrasse, the famous shopping street of Zurich. Many museums, including the Kunsthaus and the Swiss National Museum, are nearby. The rooms are modern and some feature original artwork. However, due to the location, some of the rooms can be noisy due to late night crowds in the Old Town. The hotel breakfast is excellent and features a wide selection of Swiss foods. There is free Internet service in the lobby and you can purchase web access in the rooms. Front desk service is excellent and the entire staff is very helpful.

Modern hotel, not much character. Rooms and facilities are OK. Good central location, near train station.
