Top end in the heart of the old town
A member of the Leading Hotels of the World (www.lhw.com), the Widder Hotel is undoubtedly not lacking any luxury. Unlike many hotels in this group, though, Widder is a small boutique hotel with a much more personalised feel. It is housed in a group of adjacent old townhouses in the heart of Altstadt (Old Zürich) and does a wonderful job mixing old and new, both in architecture and furniture. Rooms are very spacious, well equipped and extremely quite. Naturally, this is one of the more expensive hotels in one of the most expensive cities in the world... Luckily, I stayed here on business...
