Vista point Regitzerspitz - Peak - hike or bike

The peak of the Regitzerspitz is more like a plattform, safely protected with a fence on the steep cliffside.
As you can see it can also be done by mountain bike, riding up to the top is a bit challanging, because of some tricky steps on the top, try it!

The whole Heidiland is an excellent place for cycling, either with your roadbike or mountainbike.

Ride leisurely along the river Rhine, or challange yourself on a steep mountain.

Except main roads every road or path is fine and safe. Bicycle, helmet, raingear, water and snacks

Bat colony in Flasch

In the church tower of Fläsch you find the largest population of mouse-eared bat’s (lat. Myotis). More then 1500 bats are living up in the roof chamber.

There is a infrared camera up in the tower and you can watch the bats on a screen on the outer side of the church. But remember, the bats are not in the tower during winter time, then they hibernate in caves, caverns and cellars.

Mountainbike tour upto Regitzerspitz

"A great mountainbike ride upto 1140 meter"

The Regitzerspitz is a great tour.
From the river side it's inbelievable, but you can really bike up to the top.
The tour is for medium to expirienced riders.
A big part of the ride is in shady areas, so even in summer it's fine, not to much heat.

Yes, stop!
You ride through a military training camp (yes, this is possible in Switzerland)...so...you better obey to the signs.
If the barriers are closed do not pass them, maybe the hit you....
There are alternatives, check the map, eg. via Balzers.

Some roades are going through the target area....remember you make a bad target....
