There are 6 world class golf courses as well as two courses open to players without a handicap in Crans-Montana. It's a veritable golf destination in the heart of the Alps, in an exceptional panorama.

The Omega European Masters at Crans-Montana is the second most important Swiss even after the Davidoff Swiss Indoors in Bale. I didn't play here but I took some pictures.

Walking Trails in the Mountains

Even if you walk everyday here, you can have different trails... and a free bus ride can take you a little further to start your walks. The trails are very well marked so you can never get lost. In summer time, it's just so beautiful and so much fun to walk around the lovely mountains!

Crans-Montana in Summer

"Sunshine, Flowers, Quietness"

Crans-Montana is surely better known for its winter season, when skiers come from all over the world. However, my month spent here is in July, so I found it quite quiet. Nevertheless, everyday lovely sunshine and countless wild flowers on mountains make the stay no less interesting at all than in winter.

"There's a "Montana Village" not far"

There's a "Montana Village" not far from Crans-Montana. It's worth a one hour or so walk there.

"Horse Jumping Show"

I understand it happens every summer in July in Crans. It's an exciting show to watch. By the way, the organizer offers free drinks to audience every noon.
