Hotel Alpenblick Murren

We stayed there for 3 nights and our experience with them was great from the begining, starting with the reservation and the information about the place. The hotel offers either rooms with breakfast, or with half board. We would reccomend the half board, the Chef is the owner, a very jolly and fun person, who would do his best to make everything perfect. His wife speaks English, Swiss German, German, French and Italian...and maybe another languages too...:) ...that's all we've heard though. The room we had was a little bit small though, I guess the only minus I would personally give the place...I normally like bigger rooms, especially for a ski vacation when you need more room for all the stuff you have with you. They also have family rooms, I do not know how big they are, but they do have a TV room on each floor where you can hang out with your friends and have some drinks. They also have an a la carte restaurant with a pretty good selection of food and drinks.

Unique Quality: The view from the hotel is breathtaking, you see the village of Wengen on the other side of the mountain, little houses during the day or dancing lights at night. The hotel is conveniently locate close to the train station and it's a ski in/ski out hotel. The whole village is car free, which made our vacation even nicer...no cars to look out for and free to ski on all paths in the village.

Directions: At the train station go to the left...chances are you would see it from the train anyway.
