Chasa Vaidum: New, luxury apartments

The apartment building is conveniently located at the end of the slopes and opposite the ski bus stop. Vaidum is really a good place to stay. It's not very expensive and you really get something in return for the money you pay. There is a convenient bread service every morning, a ski and boots store and a sauna.

Most buildings here are hotels

Almost all buildings in the main village Samnaun are hotels, mostly in 3 and 4 star quality, and almost all contain also a duty free shop.

In the other villages in the Samnaun valley (Laret, Compatsch, Ravaisch and Plan and in the Austrian village Spiss) you can find cheaper accommodation. In winter a regular skibus provides convenient transport to the funicular up to Alp Trida with skilift connections to the Ischgl area in Austria.

Hotel Post: The Hotel of the world Champion

Stay with the Family of Ski World Champion Martin Hangl.
The Hotel Post ist a 4* Hotel located in the bottom part of Samnaun Dorf. The rooms are comfortable, the food excellent.

Unique Quality: The Hotel has got a Wellness Area called "Stella Aqua" with a whirlpool, saunas, stem cabins, relaxing beds etc. wich is great to relax the muscels after a day on the skis.
Family Hangl offer various activitys from a "ski-safari" to snow-shoe treks for hotel guests, some are free others at a small charge.
A private ski bus brings you to the Gondola in the morning. In the evening you can sky directly right down to the Hotel.

Hotel Buendnerhof

The rooms were very small in this hotel (ask for the bigger rooms, the extra charge is only CHF 10.--per day and person) but the meals were really delicous.

Unique Quality: The hotel lies right at the slope coming down from the mountain. This was very agreeable especially to me as I don't like to carry my skis on my shoulder!!!
