Hotel Chalet Swiss: for a quiet vacation

Hotel Chalet Swiss consists of a traditional building facing the famous Jungfrau-view and a modern part in the back, plenty of the rooms in the back have also a balcony facing the large car-park in the innercourt of Hotel Chalet Swiss. This hotel is at the west-end of Unterseen in a quiet area with only a few local people driving through, so you will have for sure a quiet vacation far away from busy and noisy Interlaken !

This hotel might be a perfect place for tourists, who arrive by car and intend to explore the area mostly also by car. You simply should know that the nightlife, cinema, cafes ect. are in a distance of at least 800 meters, that is an advantage for many people, for others its not...

Hotel Post-Hardermannli: great architecture & reasonable prices

Hotel Post-Hardermannli is the building next to Hotel Roessli and you will immediately see that great facade with wooden balconies dating back to the end of the 19th century. Ask for one of the rooms with a balcony facing the famous "Jungfrau-Blick" , in my personal opinion tat view of the famous mountains is a lot better from Unterseen than from most hotels in Interlaken.

The owner of Hotel Post-Hardermannli is a farmer as well, so you will get freshly home-made diary-products there every day for breakfast.

Minotel Beausite: a great 3-star-hotel

Minotel Beau Site is another great Hotel in Unterseen, that I may highly recommend for a nice vacation in the quiet area off the centre of busy and touristy Interlaken, (north of the river Aare). This hotel is an excellent combination of old and new architecture - see my 2nd and 3rd picture !
I am sure your children will like to visit the goats at the other side of the street, just opposite of Minotel Beausite, take a look at my 4th picture !
Of course also this hotel offers the great view of Jungfrau !

This hotel is a very good choice, when you arrive by car and intend to make your excursions with that car, as they have a really big parking at the hotel.
Walkingtime to the train-station Interlaken West and the centre of town is about 15 minutes or 1 station by local bus.

Hotel Roessli: a great family-hotel

Hotel Roessli / Hotel Roessli is my favorite place to stay in Interlaken and Unterseen : I simply prefer the smaller, cosy places agains the large, unpersonal ones, and this hotel is a rather small place and a nice restaurant for local cuisine. From some of the rooms you may even get the famous "Jungfrau-Blick", but you better ask for that in advance. The restaurant-terrace is also facing the Jungfrau-Blick and the cartrafic is so low there, you would not even hear it...

This small hotel is also a good choice when you arrive by car, because parking your car is always a problem in the area of Interlaken, BUT Hotel Roessli has its own car-parking !
