Location! Location! Location!
Here you can visit UNESCO world historical sites. Visible from your hotel roof are a couple amazing churches with Golden domes! Yes, it is real gold.
Loved the hotels location and selection of food. You'll be impressed.
If you don't care about price and security are high on your priorities then this is your hotel.
I'd recommend the hotel mostly for government and business travelers because I am not certain that the price value equation makes sense for the savvy tourist. The pricing here was well above the NYC, Berlin, Hong Kong, & DC levels. Too new of an international tourist & business destination to command such prices.
Unique Quality: #1) You have a superb staff that is very responsive. This matters! They have the aptitude to do more if they choose. Individuals (especially your food service staff) give me very high hopes for the Future of Ukraine on the international scene.
#2) Your concierge team were professional, passionate, and personal. They helped secure a private historical tour with a local professor / teacher. I could have used another day tour.
#3) Sergi, Yaroslav, & Olga have to be the best gentlemen & woman working in the hotel industry's restaurant business that I've met in a long time. They were attentive, professional, helpful with their recommendations, and had perfect timing.
#4) Reservation staff & phone operator(s) were amazingly efficient & helpful.
#5) You Security team made themselves visible without being overbearing.
#6) Buildings external architecture and color scheme!
#7) Location! Location! Location! Very easy to walk around to a number of places.
#8) Ukrainian Wine Colonist (Red). Coming from California (where wine is prevalent), I'd have to salute your local wine. To honor you country, I'd recommend that you add more Ukrainian wines. You have to take pride in your own "vines" & "wines" before others will too.
#9) Room designer did a solid job! Loved the colors & comfortable bed.
#10) Dined at Olivera, Lobby Lounge Bar, and B-Hush. Each were unique enough to be satisfying. Loved the Borsch (which Sergi recommended) and stroganoff @ Olivera. The Lobby Lounge Bar (Yaroslav) offered an extremely "tasty" seafood soup that I only wished could be replicated back here in California- truly delicious (compliments tot he chef). B-Hush (Olga) put together an amazing cheese & fruit plate with a nice personal touch.
#11) Housekeeping team were buttoned up as I didn't notice any dust or mess left anywhere. Very impressive crew.
#12) B-Hush (roof top bar) has the potential to be a solid social destination. Your DJ (music coordinator) does a good job too.
Directions: Right adjacent to two the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plus a number of other government buildings.
