The best hostel in Kyiv
Quite comfortable and well located. Good alternative to hotels for several days visit to Kyiv.
Youth hostel is located in the historical part of the lower town (Podil) on Yaroslavska street.
That is a busy area with lots of shops, cafeterias, grocery stores, train and air ticket office, hairdressers' and internet-cafe.
Nb: 10 minutes metro ride to the Independence square and Kreshatik street
Unique Quality: The most unique thing is the price ;)
With general prices in the hotels from 40 euro, here it is 17-19 euro per bed.

Room A - 2 + 1 beds
Room B - 3 beds
Room C - 4 beds
24 hour 7 days a week English-speaking reception

Hostel Yaroslav; the one closest to the centre
Hostel Yaroslav; only 10 beds available, so be quick with reservations.
Only 2 minutes walk to the metrostation; 2 stations away from the citycentre.
Nice and helpful hostelboss, called Paul; a few maps are hanging on the walls in the hostel. They also give you a small copied map of the citycentre for free.
Unfortunately they don't serve breakfast.. But in the same street is a really huge 24hour opened supermarket, which sells almost everything; even jewellery and DVD's.
