Best Hotel In Kiev
The hotel room is ok, but the Concierge service is superb, very helpful. And I must say the pool, Sauna, and working out facility is unbelievable. It is center of the city and it is very easy to get around the city from the hotel.

Top of the line
I have stayed at the Premier a few times. It is the most luxurious hotel that I have seen in Kiev (followed closely by the Radison). Steep price, but worth the money. Great gym and bar. Top notch service.

High speed internet
The Premier Palace recently added in-room high speed internet connection to select rooms. Ten U.S. dollars per hour, billed in one hour increments. Still a pricey hotel, not for the budget traveler.
Unique Quality: The location is very convenient for local Metro services, downtown attractions and local restaurants.

The only place in town (almost)
While I have never been fortunate enough to stay at the Palace, this is our first choice for our visitors. The hotel is well run and very nicely appointed. There has been (almost finished) a doubling in the number of rooms by adding a new section. This is a good thing because everyone who comes to Kyiv on a regular basis generally opts for a room here which tends to make it a bit tough to arrange. Belive it or not however you will occasionally get someone at the front desk/reception that doesn't speak English so be prepared to request your guest room very slowly.

Five-Star hotel - it's more like a monument :)
It's a unique hotel - that's why :)
Situated in the very heart of Kiev, the ancient capital of Ukraine. It takes just few steps to walk to the main street of Kiev-city - Kreshatik, Golden Gates, National University, ancient park, National Opera.
Premier Palace Hotel is located on the picturesque boulevard named after famous Ukrainian poet Taras Shevtchenko (it used to be called Bibikovskiy boulevard before 1919)
This hotel was built in the very beginning of 20th century and even before the October revolution it was known as the best hotel in city, and was completely renovated most recently. Spacious rooms provided with all the contemporary technical equipment, perfect order, and perfect services - well, it should be like this :)
Unique Quality: In summer Kiev is drowing in green color of poplars and chestnut tree leaves. A chestnut tree is considered to be the symbol of a city.
Wonderful panoramic view opens from the hotel's windows: golden domes of the city's churches, ancient and modern buildings.

Premier-Palace- first dive star hotel in Kiev
Premier palace today is one of the best hotels in Kiev. Before it was well known hotel UKRAINE. After complete recinstruction the first part pf the hotel was opened 3 years ago. The resy of the hotel (about 2/3) will be opened by the end of this year.
Reservations are strongly recommended.
Unique Quality: Panorama restaurant, pool, fitness, and whatever else you want.

kiev independence sq hotels
hi folks
i am thinking of staying on or very close to independence sq ,and was looking at the following hotels .
hotel kozatsky .
hotel ukarainea
hotel kretachvik .
would anyone be kind enough to recommend the first choice between these hotels ??
or are there any other hotels very close and within the same price range ??
a seviced apartment on a daily basis ,where linen towels provied is ok as well .
an aparthotel type of place is ideal if it is right in the centre .
many thanks in anticitation ,and cheers from london .

Dnipro Hotel is probably nearest Indpenedence Square and I would recommend.
SFA stayed at the Khrescatyk I believe so must be top of the range!
Others had rather a mixed bag of fortune - to say the least - going down the apartment route
