I have been in this very nice hotel in July 2007 but it's too snobbish for my taste and too expensive if you ask me - about 480 euro per night for a suite (I guess only Hayatt is more expensive in Kiev). Apart from that Radisson SAS is a great hotel - it is housed in an old very nice building that has been renovated, it's in a walking distance to the city's main street Khreschatyk, the personnel is very friendly and professional, the rooms are great, the hotel is offering all the services (fitness, sauna, spa centre, business centre, etc.), you can use Free Broadband, which includes high-speed and wireless (WiFi) Internet access. The rooms are very nice furnished, all of them are air-conditioned and with LCD TVs with cable television, coffee and tea making facilities as well as free newspapers and mineral water (for the business class rooms and suites)
The breakfast is included in the price of the room, but only of the business class rooms and suites - you don't have it if you're in a standard room.
The only problem I had is that I have made a reservation for a business class room and I got a Junior suite, but not for the same price though... They couldn't transfer me on the next morning and that's why I changed the hotel and moved to hotel Rus.

It is the first international chain hotle in Ukraine. Of course this hotel chain is very well known everywhere in the world. So it is no surprise that this hotel is very popular amoung business men from Europe and the USA. All our guests were quite satisfied with the service and general conditions in the hotel. However, be prepared that the price is several times higher than standard Radisson price.
Unique Quality: I would recommend you to visit itlian restaurant in the hotel. It's called Mille Miglia.

Radisson SAS Hotel, (new name: Radisson Blu Hotel) is located in a historical part of the city center of Kiev. It is within walking distance of business centers, government offices, and the City's main street, Khreschatik. Hotel location is secured due to immediate proximity to diplomatic representatives. There are numerous parks, golden churches, and the Golden Gate, one of the only surviving ancient monuments in Kiev, close to the hotel. The Radisson SAS Hotel, Kiev is 37 kilometers west of the Borispil International Airport.
Unique Quality: The recently opened hotel offers 255 spacious and fresh rooms including 139 Standard rooms, 94 Business Class rooms, 22 suites and three rooms for disabled guests.
The street Yaroslaviv Val, where the hotel is located, is famous for the architecture. The buildings on this street were not destroyed during the wars. Prepare for a steep walk up from the main street Khreshchatyk Street.

While the Radisson SAS in Kiev is probably the "nicest" hotel in the city, the hotel destinctly lacks any semblence of personality, making one's stay there somewhat drab. Other options -- particularly B&Bs -- exist in Kiev for business travelors, so keep these in mind when making hotel arrangements.
