Aintree Hotels

Premier Inn, Aintree: Basic but adequate.

For those of you who do not know the UK, Premier Inn are a no-frills hotel chain, probably a slight notch up from the similar Travelodge chain. They are generally situated in pretty unexciting locations, in this case an industrial park adjacent to the world-famous Aintree racecourse. In fact, the structure you can see in the background of the photo is one of the racecourse stands.

It is very convenient for Aintree rail station where there is a frequent service into central Liverpool which only takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, buses run from just outside into the centre.

As the title of the tip suggests, it is perfectly adequate, clean with a comfortable bed, and perfectly adequate for a night's sleep.

Breakfast is not included in the price but available at additional charge, should you require it.

The building appears to be wheelchair accessible.

Unique Quality: Nothing unique except for the proximity to the racecourse.
