Pennyhill Park Hotel And Spa: Unparalleled Luxury

As mentioned in my travelogue, we stayed at the luxurious Pennyhill Park Hotel: what an incredible treat! The service was first class all the way; from home baked cookies to have with tea upon arrival, a dvd selection should the need arise, a FOUR poster bed, fluffy bathrobes, luxury toiletries, fantastic roll top bath to underfloor heating - this place was a real find!

The condiments in the hotel room were excellent: filter coffee, a wonderful selection of teas and still and sparkling water.

There was a cute touch: the do not disturb sign was in the form of an English Teddy Bear (a beefeater to be precise!) you could hang on a hook outside your door if you did not wish to be disturbed.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the complimentary magazines a delight and the overall experience was one of decadence and extravagance. What a pleasure - I would go back anytime!
