A warm welcome during the Easter snows

This perfect B & B combines luxury with homeliness and has everything you need for a stay in Snowdonia.
Extremely comfortable rooms: fluffy duvets, designer bathroom suites, tea/coffee AND hot chocolate, radio and TV (if you have time to watch it)
Access to lots of great walks and hikes: with daily weather reports, plenty of guidance and reading material in the house and a great 3D map of the area so you can re-live your mountain achievements. I think the same's also true for biking enthusiasts.
Quiet location yet fantastic restaurants and other amenities in walking distance which you really appreciate after a long day on a windy hillside (but remember to book your tables on a busy weekend - Gavin will advise).
A warm and friendly welcome from Gavin and Michelle who are wonderful hosts (and make a mean breakfast: don't miss Michelle's Cumberland sausage speciality).
You won't go wrong with a stay at Bryn Afon!
Great Value for Money for Couples!

We got a lovely decorated room with a wonderful view of Pont-y-bridge & river. Gavin and Michelle put in much effort to be good hosts. Always polite, patient and helpful. A big thanks to Gavin for giving us tips on the best restaurants & walks, and offering to drive us to and fro the rail station, with our 2 huge luggages. All in all, a wonderful memorable experience at Betws-y-coed :)
Loved our stay at Bryn Afon

My boyfriend & I stayed here for three nights & loved every minute of it. The guest house is in a fantastic location right by the river & a 2 minute walk into Betws-y-Coed centre. Gavin was extremely helpful & friendly & offered us lots of tips. We stayed in room 5 & it was very comfortable with everything you could need. The breakfast was lovely & set us up for a day of walking!
We ate at The Bistro in town & at the Ty Gwyn Hotel which is about 20minutes walk outside town- both were great & i would definetely recommend a visit.
Amazing location

There's nothing bad to say about Bryn Afon. Right by the bridge and river, there is an amazing view out of every window. I've recently travelled round the world and Bryn Afon offers the most comfortable beds I've stayed in so far - especially after climbing Mt Snowdon! The hospitality is second to none and if you happen to arrive in a classic mini you can be assured that your hosts will take good care of it!
Amazing location, beautiful views

Highly recommended! The B&B is located just across a stone bridge from Betws-y-Coed village. It has lovely views from all rooms over the river, bridge, and fields. It feels as though it is out in the countryside but is only about two minutes walk from the town.
Hosts were lovely, had lots of good suggestions of places to visit. Rooms were lovely and bright and well-decorated.
There are tables and chairs at the front so we bought back fish & chips one night and enjoyed them watching the people passing by.
Thank you very much!!!!!!

A very warm welcome and greeted by Gavin (he's from from Essex!) at their lovely guest house by the river.
My friend and I stayed at room no' 5 with an amazing view of the river and the old bridge, the room was very clean, spacious and and very comfortable to settle down for three days.
We really loved Michelle's delicious breakfast esp the Cumberland sausages...............a must eat in Wales!!!! Thank goodness the eggs were free-range.
Although it was quite a rushed 3 days, we were given a very helpful advise on where to go around Betws-y-coed, Snowdonia, where to eat, the weather, wheather we should bring our warm jackets to ride on a train to the summit etc (if we didn't we'd probably froze to death).
As a keen walker I'm likely to come back again this year to try walking/treking to Mount Snowdon.
Thank you very much Gavin and Michelle for given us a memorable stay, I'm already missing Betws-y-Coed!!!!!!
The best B&B experience we ever had

Thank you to the hosts - Gavin & Michelle.
it was absolutely incredible experience. We got all information and very friendly and helpful advises what can be done and seen in the area. The breakfasts are amazing, so are the rooms.
We would recommend this place to anyone who's visiting North Wales.

Bryn Afon, Best as Ever
by TripAdvisor Member danandsar
Bryn Afon as ever is the perfect place to stay in Betws-Y-Coed, sat perched on the banks of the river midway through the town. Gavin & Michelle go out of their way to make you feel at home. The House is always spotless, clean and tidy and so relaxing. As for the area well Snowdonia has to be one of the most amazing places in Britain....
