Base camp in Bettws.
Have stayed here a few times now, and every time i do, whether it be on my own or with my partner.... it is always a very pleasant break. The hotel is in the centre of the town, so has easy access to shops and amenities if you need anything. They have a good car park behind the hotel, although in the height of the summer this does get packed with people visiting the town for the day. The hotel is very clean and tidy and decorated to a pretty high standard. Staff are all helpful and very pleasant. Breakfasts are very nice, but not had dinner there in the evening yet, so not sure about that. Have to say, the beds are pretty comfortable too... some hotels i have stayed in just have the most horrible beds, but these are pretty comfortable.... so a good nights sleep is had!
All in all, i think i could happily recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice comfortable stay in Bettws.
Unique Quality: Former coaching inn, fantastic looking old building. Set in the middle of a very attractive victorian village. Nice views over the river if you get a room at the front.
