well, this doesn't really fit this catagory but over the last couple of years Chippenham has been getting more andmore places to eat. there is now dominos pizza, macdonalds, pizza express, burger king as well as chienese, indian and local fish and chips
Lacock, a small & quiet village about 5 miles from Chippenham...is known for its abbey, The Lacock Abbey.
The village itself has some attractions with beautiful houses...
Wow ! This house has plants & roses covered their walls...I wish the car wouldn't park there, sort of 'ruin' my photo...
Some of these beautiful houses are shops selling postcards & souvenirs...

Lacock Abbey is situated in Wiltshire, England which began its life as a monastery...
It was founded in 1232 and converted into a country house 1540...Although some parts of the monastery/house have been changed for the last centuries, there are many parts & corners are still intact from the various periods of this beautiful place...
