FOREST HOLIDAYS-KELDY CABINS: GREAT ACCOMODATION-AND YOUR HUMANS CAN COME TOO!

Keldy cabins is one of the very good sites owned by "forest holidays", there are two other cabins sites (cornwall and scotland) and lots of camping sites- but as i am a spoilt doggie I do not do camping!
Keldy has just re-opened after re-modernisation , there are about 60 brand new luxurious cabins in the middle of cropton forest , my mum says that they have all mod cons (whatever that means)- all i know is that there are acres and acres of forest land to go for walks in , and my mum likes it because she says that there are lots of marked trails so that she can go on walks without getting lost- (I prefer to mark my own trails!

New Inn: New Inn

The New Inn is a pub that offers accomodation too, my favorite type of place to stay! This rates as one of the best I've stayed in. Beautiful village location in the North Yorks Moors and close to Pickering (steam railway), the coast is not far away and if you like that sort of thing the location of the tv series Heartbeat is not far either aaaaaarg!
Anyway comfortable bedrooms and a good breakfast await if you stay here as well as restaurant and an in house brewery - it doesn't get much better! highly recommended I'll be going again soon I hope. 2003 price is £66 for a double en-suite room with breakfast, worth every penny....see their website for lots more details.
This is a great base to expolore this beautiful part of England from.
