Dummer Down House: B&B at Dummer Down House

This lovely Georgian House is packed with history. Jane Austens sister, Georgia, rented it during the first few months of her marriage. The Duchess of York was brought up in this house and kept her horses in the nearby fields. Her step mother, Mrs R Ferguson, is now doing B&B in the annexe. Homemade jams and marmalades, eggs from the nearby Portlands farm plus locally sourced meat. A beautiful house set in lovely countryide.

There is a small outdoor swimming pool, lovely gardens and Mrs Ferguson is charming and attentive.

Oakdown Farm, Dummer: B&B in Dummer

A working Farm. A small bungalow that takes solely B&B visitors.

ETC 3 Diamond, non-smoking farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation with 1 double and 2 twin bedded rooms. Open all year, ideal for business people, sorry no children under 10 years of age. Wayfarers Walk just 100 metres. Price bed and breakfast £20 - £25 per night.

Breakfast. Unbeatable! Eggs from Elizabeths chickens. Great bacon and sausages sourced locally. Homemade marmalade. What more do you want?
