 | Ramada Plaza Bristol: Standard Business Hotel in Bristol #1

Hotel room, Ramada Plaza, Bristol by Gyppo This hotel is fairly normal for a UK business hotel. I stayed in a twin room, which was OK although the air conditioning was pretty ineffective. The beds were fine, as was the shower. There was a TV and tea making facilities. The hotel is very near Bristol Temple Meads station, so conveniently situated, and also close to town and the riverside. The bar was unsurprisingly more expensive than local pubs, but average for hotels, with not too much choice. Breakfast was served in a nice room and was alright - a buffet with cooked breakfast items; cereals; fresh fruits; breads and cakes; and a small selection of cold meats and cheeses. Fitness centre and pool. Staff were businesslike, and appeared to be a bit scripted, however they were mainly teenagers.
No unique qualities, really. Pretty standard. Theme: HotelPrice: US$80-120 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averagePhone: 0117-9260041Directions: Very near Temple Meads train station. As I recall, straight on from the station, cross the main road and turn right, bear left and it's about 200m up the road.
