This restaurant is now owned by Park Inn; I stayed when it was changing hands and it may be different now! The accomodation was adequate of the business trip overnighter type and almost clean. The restaurant and bar have a fabulous view over the River Ouse (and you can see the Swan hotel on the other side of the river which is a lovely old Georgian building and rather more expensive). The Sunday Lunch was a good menu and delicious but the service was extraordinarily slow; expect to be there for the best part of the afternoon and enjoy the view. We paid about £20 per head which included a cheap wine.
Unique Quality: Nice little gym at the bottom of the hotel with a steam room that usually works which is free with the accomodation.
