John Lennon's former mansion.

Not exactly "Off the Beaten Path" as it's by the A329 at Sunninghill, just past the B383 crossroads, one-and-a-half miles outside Ascot on the way to Virginia Water.
Tittenhurst Park (bought by Lennon in May, 1969 for just £145,000), opposite the Royal Berkshire Hotel, is where the film of John Lennon performing "Imagine" on a grand piano in a stately home was made. Ringo Starr bought the mansion off Lennon in 1973. The ruler of Abu Dhabi bought it off Ringo in 1988 & is the current owner/occupier.
The website link gets the address wrong! ...It incorrectly states "London Road, Sunningdale" which is a different place (the A30).
Go a little further, to the LH bend & there's a road on the right (running along the side of Tittenhurst Park), Whitmore Lane, which leads to Sunningdale Cemetery (at the back of Lennon's mansion) where acting legend Diana Dors is buried.
