Newbury Travelodge: Cheap and Handy
We had a comfortable stay here in a clean room with TV, plenty of hot water, etc.. And best of all the cost £10.00 !!!! Yes that is per room with bathroom. I believe the cheapest you can get it for now is £15.00, but still a bargain.
Don't expect much of a view though, and its on the Motoway Services, so you might get a bit of traffic noise, but hey it's cheap!
