Giving the odds
I went to Newbury to go horse racing to watch the Hennesy Gold Cup meeting.It was a great day out except for the lack of winners, although we did miss the first race as we were still in the pub.
The journey there and back was fun as well, if anybody had seen us they would have fallen about laughing, 3 men in suits sat on a settee in the back of a transit van. A pair of binoculars would be handy to see the far side of the course.
