 Finding reasonably priced accommodations in Cambridge is incredibly difficult, and it's even harder finding anything centrally located. El Shaddai was about as cheap a place as we could find, and just as importantly, it's only a short walk from the bus station. It's on a nice quiet side street, which was also a plus.

Our room was just fine - Nothing special, but it had what we needed and it was clean. The bathroom, however, was rather disgusting. There was even mold growing in various places in the shower. The breakfast is good, but again nothing special. The owners are very nice, if a bit strange (Alf is a born-again Christian who claims to have the gift of prophecy, though he wasn't pushy about it). Overall this place is OK, but I'm sure there are B&Bs out there that are much nicer than this one, and with cleaner bathrooms too.

In the end, I went with three stars because of the location, the price, the breakfast, and the friendliness of the owners. Two stars just seemed unfair given our experience there, though I have to say I'd be inclined to find a better B&B if I ever return to Cambridge.
