Trinity College
Trinity College is one of the largest and most attractive colleges. It was established in 1546 by Henry VIII on the site of several earlier foundations.
The Great Court, Cambridge's largest enclosed court, incorporates buildings from the 15th century.
You can get most things here...

You'll want to bring shoes you can walk in! If you want to see the sights, you'll want to walk (or perhaps hire a bike). You can get pretty much everything here - in the centre of town, try Boots, or Superdrug. There are a few specialist photography shops in Cambridge, one is Jessops, on Green Street. You should be able to get most things here...

Check out the second-hand bookstores!
by windgurl about The one next to Oxfam (cannot remember exact name)
The second-hand bookshops are definitely worth checking out. Oxfam has a few branches but the best one with the widest range and lowest prices is actually in the central of the town. I cannot remember the exact name but it is just right next to an Oxfam branch. Just try looking out for it while window-shopping in the town. You should be able to find it. It has many books with brightly-colored price tags in its window display. There are also shelves right outside the shop with books going at only 1 pound each and usually, a few people will gather outside the shop to browse through the books on offer. Don't just browse through the shelves at the front of the shop. Go inside and you can easily spend one hour there, if you are willing to search meticulously for the content that you are interested in. The categorization of the book content is quite clear. There can be quite a few copies of the same title and some are in better condition than others so search properly for the least damaged one. In fact, I found it hard to believe that the books were going at such low prices. Some of them seem brand new to me. There are some which are quite outdated in their content, thus the low prices. Anything from 1 pound onwards for a novel to much higher prices for proper academic texts (still very reasonably priced and in good condition)
buses

i was in cambridge for about 4 weeks, and i usually went to school or to city centre or anywhere by bus,tho i hired a bike(fell off the first day i hired it,and the last days, the tire was flat),i think it' s cheaper to buy a ticket for a week, costs about 8 pounds, and bus is really convenient, tho it always doesn't come on time, the busy drivers r really friendly and nice
