On arrival we paid cash for 2 nights accommodation and 2 mornings breakfast. Even though we are pensioners, because there is no lift, we had to climb 2 flights of stairs and negotiate 2 corridors to get to our room ,which was the furthest away from reception. The hot water in the tap in the basin, when we got it to work, only trickled out and we had to pack the plug with plastic to keep the water in the basin. The first morning, when we went to breakfast we were informed that we were booked in as room only. Then when we booked out were informed we owed some money, which we clearly didn't as we had had no extras. The place is very shabby, but most of the staff were pleasant, but being asked what you would like for breakfast before being seated and able to look at the menu wasn't good.
