It depends whether you have transport or not. If you are in the town centre, there are several nice eating places, 15 Cairo, Le Frog, The town House on Buttermarket St, a couple of nice Chinese and Indian on Sankey St opposite the twon hall gates.

A bit further out, I like The Waterside on Centre Park, within walking distance of the town centre.

A nice Italian is on Orford Lane called Donnatellos. Despite the area, it is lovely food and just within walking distance of town.

Further afield there are many pub/restaurants. I like the Hollow Tree at Stretton, The Swan at Winwick, Springbrook at Grappenhall. But there are loads of others.

Visit YMCA - great youth center

During a recent visit to warrington, I found a YMCA just off a side street opposite the town hall. A great selection of youth and adult workers. Open most days and offering a great selection of activities and classes and providing a real hangout for the youth in the area.

4 Stars, the cafeteria was staffed by great volunteers with a good attitude and the food was good quality and the cost was absolutely minimal. My respect to these people...
