A famous and well known meeting point in Stockton central. This is the local well to do bar and a popular meeting spot!

Stocktons very own Drake hotel!
This hotel is located in a prime location in Stockton, on the main high street and walking distance from most restaurants, cafes and shopping centres.
The hotel however has not been modernised since the stone age and it seems even the wireless internet will only work if you chant some magical druid rhymes. I had to change rooms 3 times and even then my wireless internet would only work with me propped up against the door and after having restyled most of the furniture.
Unique Quality: This hotel reminds me of the Drake in Chicago, not from external aesthetics or from internal luxury, just from the historic lived in by mafia smell and knowing the fact that nothing has been modernised for the last 5 decades!
Apparently it has a swimming pool. It has a nice little breakfast area and bar too although dont expect miracles.
The local knowledge of the concierge/receptionist is probably left unspoken about, but I was more than likely unlucky on this occasion.
On the bright side your room will hopefully have a nice view of the town, ensuite shower with free soap (woohoo), tea making facilities with free biscuits (wohoo again) and of course the usual lazy suzie tv stand. All in all for the price this hotel is fine. I would recommend their room service as you certainly get a lot for your money.
Parking will cost around £10 per night.
