Stalls and Markets
by Muarrij
Like many small towns, there are stalls and markets which are not only cheaper but tend to be more specialist.
This typical eatery stall (in picture) is in the centre of Stockton town and is here almost every day.
Look at my shopping tips and OTBP tips - to learn about the other market stalls.
My Home Town

Okay, so a lot of people find it hard to fully appreciate their own home town, and I'm no exception. But despite the High Street's £1-shop image and all the rough housing estates the town does actually have some good things going for it. The town is right on the River Tees and is home to the Tees Barrage, which includes a world-reknowned white water course... there's lots of nice country parks if you're willing to go a little out of the town centre, and once a year Stockton is home to a fantastic street art festival, Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF for short). This is usually held towards the end of July, but this year it's running from 3rd -7th August.
