More about Wild Air Guest House
Loved it, Fantastic Sea Views
This hotel has Fantastic sea views from every room, all of which were spacious. excellent service and felt like a home from home, I would highly recommend this hotel. Immaculately clean and claire is full of knowledge about the area. The Gardens of Heligan are practically on the doorstep
I would definitely stay here again. The parking space is an added bonus.
Excellent Customer focus by patron.....beautiful view of mevagissey...prime loca
Our 5 night stay at Wildair was a relaxing, enjoyable and warming experience. This was due to the attention to detail, customer focus and 'openness' of Clare, the patron. I would like to revisit and would have no hesitation in recommending HER Wildair to all.
Simply the BEST !!
Having just spent a few days at Wild Air, I am more then happy to recommend this wonderful B+B to anyone visiting Mevagissey.
Working in the manufacturing industry, I spend many nights in B+Bs all over England, and I conclude that the standards set by out host Clare were the highest I have ever come across.
Mevagissey, itself is beautiful, and the views from our bedroom window, right over the harbour were simply breathtaking.
I am very envious of the decor in this establishment, it really is beautifully decorated and very very comfortable !.
The breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented, with more choices than you would have at home !
Clare really has paid attention to detail...the place is spotlessly clean, warm and inviting....
Wild Air should be credited with 5 stars, it really is the nicest place I have ever stayed.....will be booking again soon !!
a little gem!
You will not be dissappointed by your stay here. It was spotless, Clare and her husband made it a little gem. They were helpfull, friendly making the atmophere relaxed, and truly special. The views were spectacular--my only problem was I had to come home!!!!! Thanks Clare--would love to come back again.
We were only able to be away from home for three days and two nights and had to make the most of our time so the quality of accomodation, food and environment were very important ot us.
We were not disappointed. Clare keeps her home immaculate and we felt like honoured, special guests. The breakfasts were fabulous and the setting abolutely gorgeous. We found excellent pubs and restaurants in the village (walking distance down a cliff path) but would not want to take a car into the village because it is a maze of narrow, one-way streets. However it is very picturesque and photogenic.
We particularly loved the view from our cosy, double room - dawn across the bay and all the comings and goings of the harbour.
We will go back as soon as we can and can't wait to explore Cornwall again. This time we managed to get to know the local village and the Eden Project (fab) but there is so much more to see and do.
Oh yes.... the charges are very modest, too.
We have just stayed at Wild Air for a long weekend and have to say its a gem of a place.Spotless, tastefully decorated, rooms with great views of Mevagissey Bay.
We were made more than welcome by Clare who cooked a delicious breakfast.
The whole experience was perfect from start to finish. Clare, our host, was friendly, thoughtful, and prepared the most fantastic breakfasts. Her house is warm and inviting, the rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable, and furnished and decorated to a high standard. The views are breathtaking, and having spent 30th and 31st December there, I can't wait to go back again. New Year in Mevagissey is a wonderful experience.
place to be
We spent 2 nights at Wild Air and it was absolutely wonderful!
Warm and inviting rooms with breathtaking views and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Wild Air truly is a home away from home.
Clare our host, did a excellent job at making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and rest assured it was! She was thoughtful, friendly and doesn't need to try hard to make you feel like you are at home.
Very much looking fwd to visiting Wild Air again as it is exactly where you want to be to relax and unwind after staying in bustling london!

A Great Break
Last October we spent 6 nights at Wild Air and had a thoroughly enjoyable time despite the weather being changeable.
Wild Air, run by Clare, is a fantastic B&B. Beautifully decorated, with fabulour views over the sea and harbour, the rooms are lovely and there is a great air of calm there which is just what we needed to unwind.
The breakfasts are delicious - you have a choice but we had the full English and everything was cooked to perfection every day. You share the dining table with up to 4 other guests which starts the day really nicely as you exchange reasons for your visit and recommended places to go.
Clare was a fantastic host - very welcoming and helpful. We were keen to visit the Eden Project and look round local gardens and she was able to recommend some little gems.
Mevagissey, itself, is a very interesting and pretty place and the people are very friendly towards visitors. There are shops and galleries to browse and plenty of good places to eat . Thanks to Clare's booking, we had a very memorable and delicious meal at Christophe's on our 30th wedding anniversary. Our table was sprinkled with little silver stars and "Happy Wedding Anniversary" and we were made to feel really special.
All in all, a very enjoyable week and we thoroughly recommend Wild Air!
