We - Fiona and Judith Pocklington have owned this lovely hotel for the past 32 years. Please ignore the review on rape at the priory. This is a disgruntled ex employee of ours who has been trying to damage our business over the last two years. He has several convictions - one of which was stealing £5,000.00 from Bookers cash and carry. This was his next job after ours and since then was given the sack from there aswell!Please contact Newquay Police Station- as he is known to them for other convictions. We do hope that this bad review will not stop you booking our little gem in the south west.

****** RAPE AT THE PRIORY LODGE HOTEL ****** A word of warning to all those who are thinking of going to the PRIORY LODGE HOTEL in NEWQUAY, especially if you are thinking of bringing young children there, DONT !!!!!! A friend of mine went there recently for a weeks holiday with their 2 children aged 11 and 14yrs old. Her 14yr old son was RAPED in the room they were staying in by a male member of staff who is believed to be in his mid 40's and who I have been told is the partner of owner Fiona Pocklington. You have been warned, if you take your children to this hotel you do so at your own risk, do you really want to take that kind of chance with the lives of your children ???
