Beachfield Hotel - a cosy Victorian style hotel

The Beachfield Hotel is a cosy white Victorian style building facing the Penzance promenade. Located on the sea front, our hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mounts Bay, from The Lizard to Newlyn Harbour. A Victorian building, dating from the 1860s and standing on grounds that were once fields and dunes where fishermen dried their nets, the Beachfield Hotel has long been a favourite for those who know Penzance well. It is conveniently only a six-minute walk from the historic town centre.

Unique Quality: I liked the dining room where a hearty full English breakfast is being served daily. It faces the promenade and has wonderful sea views. The interior of the lobby is tastefully decorated with sofas and a fireplace where one can spend the quiet evening reading a book. The hotel does not have an elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the staircase.
