Travel Tips for Saint Austell

SHOW ME A BANK WHERE THE WILD THYME GROWS

by BerniShand

The first thing you notice when you enter the Warm Temperate Biome is the smell, thyme, rosemary, lemon, lavender and more mingling to the most delicious scent, then if it is not too busy you will hear the robins singing, they are welcome here as a natural pest control
wander along the paths through plants from the Mediterranean, South Africa and California and admire the stunning sculptures, learn about the many properties of olive oil, and sniff the display on perfume making
the air is dry in here, and the landscaping gives an accurate example of the featured regions

More Waterfalls

by Geoff_Wright

Eden isn't just about nature, it's also about people, so here's a picture of moi standing by the main waterfall. Just stand awhile, and look around at other visitors enjoying the natural scenery.

The water used here is recirculated, and pumped up to the top of the natural cliff, and allowed to cascade down, through several different channels.

Tropical Beach

by freya_heaven

A tropical beach in the south seas maybe, NO its the Palms area! (~_~)

The various different palms have a huge range of uses by humans, not just dates & coconuts etc. More importantly we get products such a rope, Palm oil, which is used in hair & cleaning products, processed foods, cooking oil. Plus for the local people the stems & leaves provide, shelter, roofs, floor coverings. The trunks can be made in to boats & give support to buildings.

A very adaptable plant!
