St. Ives Holiday Village

When we stayed at St Ives holiday village which is operated by John Fowler holidays i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the self catering cabin that we stayed in as well as the overall cleaniness of the park. we turned up some three hours early (due to our lack of traffic and our drivers being related to Han Solo and James T. Kirk respectively) we expected to have to wait for our accommodation for the next three hours and when we enquired we was told to go and have a quick drink in the bar and they would see what they could do and 'hey presto' 30 minutes later we had our keys to our cabins.
We paid around £260 for the cabin (upgraded) for the week and there was four of us so it worked out at just £65 each - an absolute steal if you ask me!

Unique Quality: The park is in its own woodland setting and has its own if short walks throughout the park. The clubhouse has most things you need, a great swimming pool an arcade for the kids and the cabaret section which has entertainment earlier on for the children and entertainment later on for us suposedly adults, yes and yours truly was the first person volunteered or should that be dragged on stage 'ahem' special mention must be made to the reps here who really made the week especially a certain Ms Karen Harper who really was a star in the making and whom my friends made a conscious effort to let her know that i thought 'she was something special' every time she walked past me - and if you ever read this Karen - Carl from Oldham said hello!

A great time was had by all.
