3* Hotel in Looe
It's difficult to give this hotel a fair review, as the reason I know it is because I used to work here, not because I've stayed here. Hannafore Point Hotel is thought to be one of the better hotels in the area, and does come with a good reputation. However, I always thought it was slightly over-priced for what it is, especially during peak season. The location here is second to none, with fantastic views out to sea and along the coast which can be enjoyed from both the restaurant and the bar. There's a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym which has recently been refurbished, and work is continually being done to improve the hotel. All rooms are en-suite, and those without sea-views come at a lower rate. All accomodation is quoted at B&B rates per person, although they also offer Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rates which are much better value for money. If my memory serves me correctly, they also offer 2/3 night DB&B breaks, discounts for 7 night stays and Eden Project or golfing breaks. Generally speaking, while working on reception, the number of compliments received by far out-weighed the number of complaints, which I think says quite a lot.
