Considering the Swallow Eden Arms (Rushyford.) in Durham?

Elvet Bridge (III) by steventilly
This is Elvet Bridge itself. Over the bridge on the left is the "Swan and Three Sygnets", a Sam Smiths pub, so the beer is fairly good. There are outdoor seats overlooking the street and a terrace overlooking the river. Nice on a summer evening. At the end of the street on the right is Java Junction coffee shop (a poor mans "Starbucks") and across the street is Durham's "big two" hotels. These used to be both Swallow Hotels but now Swallow is no more, so one of them is a Marriott and the other - I don't know. Historically they are called "The Three Tuns" and "The Royal County", The "County" as it's more commonly known is the classier of the two.
