    Great value - friendly staff

    We arrived a little after 3am (yes, 3 in the morning) having driven from Berkshire on our way to Dundee.
    The welcome we got was great, and the fact that they opened the bar so we could have a drink was realy appreciated.
    Rooms are as you would expect from a small family hotel that has been enlarged over the years - clean and quirky!

    Unique Quality: Friendly staff and very very soft beds.

    Directions: On the road through Carlisle as you come off Junction 44 of the M6
