I have been to this Best Western Hotel twice recently for meals. Both have been very different. The first was rather a sad day when we went for a "Funeral Tea" following the death of my step mother. The hotel was most helpful, considerate and the food was excellent. Two month later we returned for a birthday lunch and the response was almost the opposite, service was slow and the food was uninspiring to plain ordinary. I cannot comment on the facilities for those choosing to stay here. The price category is in respect of a 2 course meal.
1st July 2004 I noticed that the Best Western logos have been removed. Whether this indicates a change of ownership I don't know.
