We decided that we should see a bit of the Lake District and not stay in the camp all the time - we did drive all the way from London so we thought it be good to get out and see the place.
One place we found was Grizedale Forest. It got loads of lovely walks in the forest. While you are walking there loads of wodern features to spot.
We didn't have much time and the weather wasn't that good so we went on the short tour. Found some lovely woodern musical instruments.

Entry is free and loads of parking
There are loads of different walks - some take a few hours if you have the time
