Myrtle Cottage, Porlock: Full of Nooks and Crannies

If you have always dreamed of staying in a 400-year old thatched cottage with low ceilings, aslant floors and nooks and crannies everywhere, then Myrtle Cottage in Porlock is the place for you. It's a comfortable B&B in a lovely village in the heart of Exmoor. The owners are nice, but sometimes a little curt and rather unorganized (as was visible in the almost empty jars of jam for breakfast). The rooms are clean, but could be a little cosier. All in all, Myrtle Cottage was alright but nothing too special.
