The Perfect B&B!

I stayed in this wonderful guest house which is owned by David and Jane. Athenaeum Lodge is a short walk from The Hoe/Seafront and the City Centre's shops and theatres. David and Jane are very welcoming and I felt at home.

I stayed in a spacious double room with ensuite facilities. In addition, there were tea and coffee making facilities, TV and radio, free internet access, toiletries, hairdryer and ironing facilities. The room was adequate and clean.

The breakfast is included in the rate. There is a choice of fruit, cereals, yoghurts and followed by a cooked breakfast with tea or coffee and toast.

The double room cost me 42 gbp a night (November 2011).

I returned here in March 2012 and stayed in a double room and cost me 40 gbp a night (March 2012)

I would highly recommend staying in this guest house and it's probably one of the best stays I had!

Unique Quality: Athenaeum Lodge Guest House is a Georgian Grade II Listed Building and has received a 4 Star rating from enjoyEngland.com.

The Guest House is conveniently situated very near the City Centre's amenities and attractions and it's nice waking up every morning to the sound of seagulls as you're near the sea!
