Only breakfast available is one delivered to your room there is no restaurant but there is a weatherspoons a couple of minutes away which does cheap breakfast. Excellent location not a very big hotel though probably only around 90 rooms. Hairdryers can be borrowed from reception.

Never Noticed The Noise!!

The Travelodge group is one of the UK's budget hotel companies. Rooms (all ensuite) are basic but comfortable, are clean and whilst simply furnished have plenty of space including decent worktops. These make for great value-fo-money places to stay, especially when booked a month in advance (rates start at £19), and almost every city and major town in the UK has at least one.

Here in Plymouth the city centre Travelodge is located very central, next door to the Theatre Royal and within easy walking of just about everywhere. For getting further afield the main local bus stops are located just up the road on Royal Parade and the train station is a short bus journey from the stop across the road (or a 20 minute walk).

One thing the website warns of is that the hotel can be a bit noisy due its location - it shares a building with a couple of bars and nightclubs but if you are staying midweek and get a room at the rear (where strangely enough the main entrance is) you won't notice. And if staying at weekends then you should be out enjoying yourself anyway LOL!

Central Location

Very good Location close to Shops, restaurants and night life and tourist attractions. Theatre and cinema opposite hotel. A short walk to The Hoe and The Barbican. Travelodge often have offers on their website of rooms for £26 so good value. No carpark though so have to park on nearby council car parks which can be costly. Don't advise you park overnite on the nearby multistori car park behind the hotel as joy riders frequently ride around it in the early hours of the morning and this can be quite noisy if your room faces this. Can't complain for the money but not ideal if you are a light sleeper! Check-in after 3pm but they will store your luggage for you.
