Old Tavistock Railway Station

Another Place I Haven't Stayed...

...but it certainly looks good!

This, as you might have guessed, is Tavistock's former Railway Station, a Grade II listed building, which has recently been converted in three individual luxury cottages. The "Porter's Office" can sleep up to 4 people, as can the "Ticketing Hall" and the "Refreshment Hall" provides accomodation for up to 7.

According to the website this 5-star self-catering establishment has all the luxuries and mod-cons that anyone could wish for in a unique building stunningly located overlooking the moor and yet still within the town centre itself.

Prices start from about 800 Pounds per week in winter rising to about 1500 during the peak months of July and August, which might sound expensive but this is per cottage not per person.

Unique Quality: As I haven't stayed here I can't comment on the facilities but it looks impressive.
