This Is Great Little Family-run Hotel

This is my hotel of choice whenever I'm in Bournemouth. I always get a warm welcome and if they aren't busy usually upgrade me to one of the better rooms for the budget rate that I pay.

Burley Court is a bit of an old-fashioned hotel with quilted bedspreads and flock wallpaper but is clean and tidy and has all the basic facilities required and even free WiFi in most rooms and the public areas.

I'm usually here on, sort-of, business and the pleasant well-lit lounge area is ideal for setting up the laptop and spreading a few papers around. The rooms themselves all have a writing table too.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the town centre and the bus stop is pretty much at the front door.

Unique Quality: This is just a nice, very-reasonably-priced, individual little hotel and BTW - It does have a seasonally used heated swimming pool out the back.

I find it better to use www.booking.com rather than the hotel's website as the rates are often less.
