A Day at the Beach

Bournemouth, and its neighbouring beaches, are extremely well patrolled by the RNLI's lifeguards who provide the service at no charge to the beach users. The RNLI is mostly funded by public donations and provide a full-range of emergency and other coastal services.
It's also good to see that they now use solar panels to power their communications equipment and other electrical needs.
I am currently living in bournemouth, reading for a degree at the University. I chose to study at Bournemouth because of its reputation as the party capital of the south coast and it certainly lives up to the name.
I have been here for 18 months and can recommend bournemouth as an alternative to the stresses of london, if you are around the south of england.
In the summer, the sea front becomes alive with people and the fantastic beach doiminates most of my time.
