This is a 4 star hotel according to the hotel. Not convinced - I’d say good 3 star. Not that there was anything wrong with it.
My room is clean, comfortable, well furnished and quiet. It has free wi-fi.
It is located across the street from the BIC conference centre, so ideal for me. The beach is 50 meters away. The railway station is 5 minutes and £5 away by taxi. The town centre is 10 minutes walk.
Breakfast is good - scrambled eggs with smoked salmon this morning. The full English cholesterol fry up yesterday. A cold, lighter option is also available.
I’m paying £90 per night (inclusive of breakfast) for a double room single occupancy. Not 4 star prices, but it’s April and it’s a seaside resort - so out of season.

bourneouth is my favourite summer town in england
it has beaches, shopping, clubs, pubs and friendly people
no wonder i'm been coming here off and on since i was 16
even celebrated the millenium here :-)
