Head to the New Forest if you want a day of peace, quiet and breathtaking beauty.
The New Forest is located on the Dorset / Hampshire border and covers 145 sqaure miles of which nearly half of this is open forest.
There are around 5000 animals, the majority ponies wandering around the forest so please drive carefully (and also mind where you step)
There are many campsites within the forest and contact details can be found in google.

"East Cliff"
Because of the unstable nature of the cliffs above Bournemouth’s beaches, many of the buildings were built at a distance from the cliff edge. This postcard shows East Cliff towards Boscombe and Southbourne.
"Pleasure Gardens"
Situated right in the heart of the town centre is the award winning Bournemouth Pleasure Gardens, which were created in the 1840s for the Meyrick family. Covering an area of 45 acres, the spectacular gardens sit right next to the seafront and the shopping area.
