The hotel was fabulous. It had it's own adventure playground, complete with pirate ship, a 3 par golf course, a spa, access to the gardens of Studland Bay House, and unbelievable food. It also borders a huge National Trust beach area.
For the rest of Saturday afternoon, we wandered around the playground and beach, enjoying the rest of a gorgeous afternoon. Dinner was included in with the hotel and we opted to let our son eat with us (they have a children's dining room which serves dinner at 5, but then your children have to be asleep before you can eat dinner at 8, which he wouldn't have done).
Sunday, we started with breakfast at the hotel - we managed to pass on the eggs with salmon the first day, but couldn't pass on the mushrooms.
After we visited Corfe, I took our son swimming in the hotel spa. They had both a cold pool (mostly like a normal indoor swimming pool, only with jets) and a Jacuzzi. Children's hours were from 3:30-4:30, but they didn't appear to be enforced too much. We also managed to watch Scrapheap Challenge (our favorite) on TV before dinner.
Family suites consist of two connecting bedrooms and a private bathroom. "A" outlook rooms face our outer gardens and grounds to the East or South; others face the large open courtyard or woods. Single rooms do not have "A" outlook.
