Hen night advice

by kirstylm

Hello
Can anyone recommend a decent bar in Brighton that I can take a well-behaved group of hens? We want somewhere stylish, with lots of seating that has a dance floor and a late license. Music that would generally appeal to most people. I'm trying to avoid walking around at midnight looking for a club!

Thanks a bunch.

Audio in Brighton is on the sea front, it’s a sort of cocktail bar, with indoor and out door seating then just outside attached to the bar is a club! It’s a nice environment and a general nice place to be. And it has hair straightness in the ladies toilets so you can redo your hair!!!
Have a wicked night whatever you do!! x

see the famous UK band - MASSIVE ATTACK in concert. :-)

The band is currently based in beautiful Brighton. And this cute little 16-month old boy is my lovely girlfriend's cherubic baby. His dad is one of the members from MASSIVE ATTACK. And his grandmother is my god-mother.

Confused? Don't worry. Me too. :-( BTW, Joel looks EXACTLY like my girlfriend when she was a baby!

More family pics to come!

Packing List

by Zlur

Definately an umbrella, after all it's England!! It always pours unexpectedly! Lots of shops around, so don't worry about stocking up on equipment. If you're going in summer, and if you're going to be swimming, then obviously some sunblock! But make sure to take a towel or rent a sunbed as the beach is pebbly and can be quite painful!

A walk in the Lewis woods

by amapola66

If the weather is nice and you have transport, it is well worth attempting to burn off some of a large British Sunday roast with a walk in the woods.

This autumn just gone, found myself, 'Aunty & Uncle Wife', 'The Little Rock Chick & my 2nd daughter', 'Princess Fairy' and 'Rocky dog', doing just that after a huge lunch at the aformentioned Cock Pub.

The nearby town of Lewis is a county town, on a hill next to the River Ouse, with a 1000 years of history in its streets and buildings , there is a network of pathways through the woods. I think it is called 'Monks walk', ask a local and they are bound to know. This is a nice easy, gentle walk and suitable for people who have eaten too many roast potatoes, very small people and teenage 'grumpies' ; ) You can go round in a circle, so there is not a great distance to get back to the car, (easy to park here too). - ideal for little legs and tired older legs too!

There are much longer walks and organised trips, click the website link below for further details. Lewes has a castle and various hisotrical buildngs and little quaint shops to explore too; not forgetting they have a branch of the fantastic Bills Produce store and cafe in the town center. You can also easily catch a train or bus there from Brighton.

Sexy Gifts and Gadgets for Women

by amapola66 about Tickles

Completely forgetting the dirty-mac attitude favoured in men’s naughty shops, Tickled sells sexy objects for ladies in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere without a shred of embarrassment. Handy for that quirkier Valentines gift or grab a fun prezzie for a girlfriend's birthday.

Such favourites as 'Wingless Vibaraing Eggs' (?!) and 'Pocket Rocket' (snigger ) - a visit to this little shop can be a good tonic in itself. ; ) Ermm It's entirely a personal thing ; )

They also have a pretty collection of pretty make-up and travel bags. £3 and up.
