Eastbourne sun trap of the south, when the weather is good it's a great place for the seafront and beaches. The pier is ok if you like slot machines or just lazing in a deckchair. We have some great floral displays if your into plants and stuff. Beachy head is well worth a visit but be carefull on the cliff edge, people tend to travel from far and wide just to launch themselves from the top of the cliffs, I think it's second in the league of suicide spots only being beaten by the Golden Gate Bridge.
The town especially in the summer months tends to fill up with students from various parts of the world and OAP's. Eastbourne has loads of pubs and nightclubs but they all tend to be a bit samey, although a good pub to visit in the town centre is called BN21 and is well worth a visit, lots of leather sofas and great air conditioning. Although it's been a while since I went clubbing The House of Commons is ok or Atlantis which is on the pier is not to bad. If you want something completey different you have to go to Brighton which boast some of the best clubs on the south coast.
